Koret Tags – Terms and Conditions

1. About Koret Tags

Koret Tags is a digital identity and networking platform that enables individuals, professionals, teams, and businesses to create, manage, and share digital business cards using smartphones, QR codes, NFC-enabled devices, and integrations with third-party tools.

2. Eligibility

To use Koret Tags, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account

Businesses and teams confirm that their admins are authorized to manage user profiles and data on behalf of the organization.

3. Account Registration & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Koret Tags is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard credentials.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of misuse, or security breaches.

4. Plans, Subscriptions & Payments

4.1 Subscription Plans

Koret Tags offers Free, Pro, and Business plans with varying features and limits.

• Free plans may have restricted features.
• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on your selection.

4.2 Payments

• All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Failure to pay may result in downgraded access or account suspension.
• Pricing and plan features may change with prior notice.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Koret Tags to:

• Upload false, misleading, or impersonating information
• Share content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing
• Harvest or misuse contact data without consent
• Send spam or unsolicited communications
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform

Violation of this policy may lead to account termination without notice.

6. User Content & Data Ownership

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of:

• Profile information
• Contact details
• Branding assets
• Links, media, and content you upload

By using Koret Tags, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and process your content solely to operate and improve the Service.

6.2 Business & Team Accounts

Business admins:

• Control employee profiles created under the organization
• Control employee meeting, card and email signature configurations
• May edit, disable, or delete team members
• Are responsible for compliance with data protection laws

7. Lead Capture & Analytics

Koret Tags provides analytics such as:

• Profile views
• Shares
• Saves
• Engagement metrics

These insights are informational only and do not guarantee business outcomes.

You are responsible for obtaining consent when collecting leads and syncing data to CRMs or third-party platforms.

8. Integrations & Third-Party Services

Koret Tags integrates with third-party services including but not limited to:

• Zoho, Google Calendar, Outlook, Calendly

We are not responsible for:

• Downtime or errors from third-party services
• Data loss or breaches caused by third-party platforms
• Changes in third-party APIs or pricing

Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms.

9. NFC Devices & Physical Products

• NFC tags and cards are intended for normal, intended use.
• Koret Tags is not liable for damage caused by misuse, modification, or external factors.
• Lost or damaged devices are not automatically replaced unless covered under an explicit warranty policy.

10. Intellectual Property

You may not:

• Copy, resell, or white-label the Service without written permission
• Use Koret Tags branding without authorization

11. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of Koret Tags is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and process personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws across Africa and internationally.

12. Service Availability & Modifications

• We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
• Koret Tags may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
• Material changes will be communicated where reasonably possible.

13. Termination

You may close your account at any time.

Koret Tags may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You breach these Terms
• Your usage poses legal, security, or reputational risks
• Required by law or regulation

Upon termination, access to paid features will cease.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

Koret Tags is provided "as is" and "as available."

We do not guarantee:

• Business success or lead conversion
• Accuracy of analytics
• Compatibility with all devices or networks

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Koret Tags shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the previous 12 months

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Definitions

Intellectual Property: All platform software, branding, logos, UI/UX designs, and proprietary features belong to Koret Tags.

Liability: Any expense, cost, liability, loss, damage, claim, notice, entitlement, investigation, demand, proceeding or judgment (whether under statute, contract, equity, tort (including negligence), indemnity or otherwise), howsoever arising, whether direct or indirect and/or whether present, unascertained, future or contingent and whether involving a third party or a party to these Terms or otherwise.

Acceptable Use Policy: The rules governing proper use of the Service as outlined in these Terms.
